The West Ruskin Street Pavilion was designed by architect, Michael McDonough. With inspiration drawn from American Folk and Southern culture, the iconic sailboat and windmill patterns are reflective of quilting. Though complex at first glance, the pavilion is structurally simple, built with common materials and uncomplicated connections. Its playful design stands out in the dune scape, drawing the eye and embodying the quality of good nature.
